LEIRVIK Module Technology (LMT) has been engaged in several offshore projects, and has built an experience for this kind of projects through the years.
The number of projects has increased the resent years and early fall this year, the company decided to set up an offshore division.
The offshore division is located in Bergen, close to the most used Helicopter Port and closed to the client’s offices that are located in Bergen.

The Offshore division’s projects can roughly be divided into two segments.

1. Living Quarters are a continuation of the company’s speciality, where the offshore division performs modifications, upgrading and maintenance offshore. In cooperation with resources from the main office, the division can execute all disciplines and phases in projects related to Living Quarters and similar areas from studies, engineering, procurement, fabrication to installation offshore. Within the Living Quarter we perform from the smallest task to build and install a Living Quarter Extension.

2. In cooperation with Sørco (www.sorco.no) we execute multidisipline EPCIC projects. For these projects we provide the offshore personnel for all “black disciplines” as welding, structural, piping, insulation and architectural disciplines. The electrical disciplines are provided by Maritime Systems (www.maritime-systems.no) which is another member of the Sørco owned companies.

LMT-Offshore division have expertice and resources within welding, structural, piping, insulation, architectural, HVAC and sanitation disciplines. Further, we also provide for scaffolding, surface treatment, rigging, electrical, instrument and telecom disciplines through our cooperation companies . The division is employing 35 persons per fall 2006 and will increase the number of employees to 50 within summer 2007.
